2015 In Review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2015 annual report for my blog. Wasn’t that nice of them?  I don’t know whether anyone other than ME is interested in MY blog’s stats, but if you are… have a look.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 2,900 times in 2015. If it were a cable car, it would take about 48 trips to carry that many people.

And then when they got back, I suppose every one of them would want some sort of refreshment. That’s a lot of pressure, man. How am I going to keep 48 trolley-fulls of blog-readers fat and happy? Damn you stats helper monkeys! I could have lived without that visualization!

Another new year.

New Year’s Day, the beginning. On a Wednesday. I can’t take a beginning seriously when it starts in the middle.

I’m listening to the drier spin and the cat snore and thinking about what’s for dinner. We’ve been eating WAY too much crap with the excuse that “it’s the holidays” – which is a very poor excuse because we didn’t have family in, we didn’t go TO family, we didn’t throw any parties, we didn’t GO to any parties – we just bought and ate crap because we wanted to.

So I gained back 4 of the 6 lbs I’d lost and now feel bad about myself – which makes me want to eat a pound of cheese.
