So there’s this thing going on over at Jennifer Nichole Wells’ blog called Color Your World – 120 Days of Crayola. For 120 days, for 120 different colors, you are invited to :
Enter your photos, drawings, quotes, poems, stories, anything, as long as it has to do with the color of the day.
I can’t commit to anything for three entire months because of LAZY, but I was just looking at the colors (some of which are very odd indeed – I don’t remember Atomic Tangerine, Neon Carrot, or Inch Worm from MY Crayola days) and saw that today’s color is asparagus!
AND it just so happens that we’re having asparagus for dinner tonight!

Totally understand the commitment thing. But feel free to join in here and there as you’d like 🙂 Trust me, if I wasn’t hosting, I’d have a miserable time trying to keep up.

Yikes … I have a fear of commitment? Though not in relationships but in this sort of “must do”, kind-of-thing. Still my hat’s off to anyone who is committed. I did see another blogger I subscribe to, in the list of participants http://ceenphotography.com/ .. so Kudos!
As well, I faithfully did the http://www.colourlovers.com thing for some years but eventually, grew bored. Also started to get unwanted emails through them. Where it was thought that colour lovers was a euphemism for the type of prostitution, that shows on the web. Photos as well as “I’ll come and comfort you” sort of thing. The site owners were good enough catching on; but only after I drew attention to it. Which started to become a drag, emailing and moaning.
Also, I’m not big on the corporation. Crayola. Owned by Hallmark Cards. Plenty of times we had to find a way of removing the ugly stains and grease marks that they left in our kids clothes. Or out of the rug, etc. Thanks for drawing to our attention! … but no, I’ll pass too. Cheers Jamie.
